H&I currently has 6 open panels requiring leaders: 2nd Monday at 7:00pm, 1st and 5th Mondays at 8:00pm, and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursdays at 7:00pm (Women only). Members need 1 year to lead a panel and 6 months to speak on a panel.

Interested members should come to the H&I subcommittee meeting, now at Hollywood Recovery Center (BHS) on the 1st Sundays of the month at 2:00pm, meeting alongside PR, Phonelines and Website. Next meeting will be on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00pm. Hollywood Recovery Center is located at 6838 Sunset Blvd (enter off Mansfield).

Roller skating event was a success. Next subcommittee meeting will be November 6 at 2:30pm at IHOP (Sunset/Orange). Come help plan the next event!

• Unity Day has open commitments available: Vice Chair and Merchandising.
• Unity Day tickets will be $25, and will be available starting November 2. There will be an option to buy 10 tickets at once to have a reserved table for the brunch.

The Real Deal will not meet on October 7th, 2011, due to the facility being closed for fumigation that day. The group will resume meeting normally the following Friday.

It was originally believed that the Real Deal would not be meeting on September 30th, but this is not the case. The meeting will happen as normally on that day.

Please announce this in meetings until 10/7.
