There is one open shift (Tue: 8pm-midnight). There is a 6-month clean time requirement. The committee is always looking for people to serve as back-ups. The next committee meeting will be on Sunday, June 13 at 3:30pm at BHS.

The theme for the next issue is “No Matter What” and the submission deadline is the first week in June. You don’t have to have writing skills in order to submit – the committee will work with you to get your experience, strength and hope into an article suitable for publishing. There is currently one open panel on the first Tuesday at 7:30pm at Vinewood Center. New panels requested from parolee residential rehab (4), homeless shelter (4) and Korean residential rehab (4) – a total of 12 panels. Please get involved and take a panel – it only requires one hour per month. Volunteers with 3 months clean may “sit in” on panels to begin H&I experience and learn how they are conducted. Regional H&I learning Day is May 8th in San Clemente – Greater Hollywood H&I is assigned the topic “Benefits of H&I Service” at 5:30pm. The next committee meeting will be Monday, May 3 at 7pm at Covenant House.

Please be advised that the meetings spaces at Covenant House will be unavailable Wednesday May 12 and Thursday May 13.
The meetings affected by this are: Wednesday Progressive Recovery (9:00pm) and Thursday Seeking Recovery (9:00pm).
GSRs – PLEASE ANNOUNCE AT ALL MEETINGS

Wednesday Progressive Recovery will not be meeting this week (May 12, 2010). The venue will be unavailable.

Someone is needed to step up as Literature Chair next Month. John will be stepping down, and if nobody takes his place, we will no longer be able to order literature for pickup at area meetings. This means that meetings will be on their own when it comes to ordering and picking up NA literature.

Please note that the entire subcommittee will be stepping down, so new members are urgently needed!
